The hip hop star tweets that he is “good” after suffering a reported seizure that led to claims he was in a coma and near death.
Grammy-winning hip hop star Lil Wayne has said he is recovering and has thanked fans for their concern after he suffered a reported seizure.
 One of the Celebrity news website claimed the star was in critical condition in Los Angeles after being admitted to hospital twice this week.
 In a message from his official Twitter account Lil Wayne said: “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”
 The 30-year-old rapper, who has a history of seizures, was first rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital on Tuesday after suffering multiple episodes, it said.
 He left the following day but was re-admitted hours later.
 His spokeswoman Sarah Cunningham said in an email that “Lil Wayne is recovering,” but did not specify what he was suffering from.
In October last year, the star, who won four Grammy awards in 2008 including best rap song and best rap album, reportedly suffered a number of seizures while on his private jet.
