Nairobi County
Senator Miko Mbuvi alias Sonko has promised to award the Kenya National
football side one million cash prize after they held Nigerian to a
famous 1-1 draw at Calabar on Saturday evening,
Sonko will also top up a 100, 000 Shillings for Francis
Kahata’s sublime free kick that nearly won the game for Kenya.
The National Alliance (TNA) chairman Johnson Sakaja and
Sonko’s close ally tweeted via his handle@SakajaJohnson Tweeted : Sonko
says he'll still give the 1m. #HarambeeStars are winners!!
Prime Minister Raila Odinga has also promised to host the
team for dinner and award team members and the technical bench.
FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya will also part with a cool one
million as a token of appreciation for job well done.
Kenya has two points from three games in a group that also
includes of Namibia and Malawi.
